Dragulon's little brother was drafted by the military while Dragulon was outside the village with his family's herd. They lost all contact. The next chance he got he hired himself out to a passing mercenary band, doing odd jobs, general labour, and maintenance duties. When he came of age he began to fight. When he finally managed to reunite with his brother, it was on the battlefield, and they were on opposing sides. Both survived the battle, but were unable to communicate further. Rather than risk finding himself in the same situation again, Dragulon quit the band, still hoping to find his brother again one day, under more peaceful circumstances.
